Pareto FP expands with Recrutiment and Move into Mortgages
Manchester-based financial planning consultancy Pareto FP has built upon its recent successes by expanding and promoting key staff members to support its changing business model.
The company has promoted two employees to the position of Associate Director, namely Stuart Carswell, Paul Stones, and recruited new talent with a view to expanding its range of financial services and broadening the remit of its advisory services.
It has also promoted several employees to senior positions with a view to building a sales team and exponentially increasing the pace of the firm’s growth.
Pareto has taken on a number of new advisors, including; John Foy, a paraplanner and researcher with nearly two decades of experience in the field, Andrew Chaplin, an Independent Financial Advisor who previously held positions at NFU Mutual and Paradigm, and Chris Flanagan, a mortgage specialist, who joins the team from Reeds Rains in Cheshire.
The latter appointment will see Chris spearhead Pareto’s partnership with regional estate agents. The initiative will commence with Pareto staff offering tailored, in-house mortgage advice to clients via a formal introducer agreement with estate agent Peter David in Halifax, with a view to rolling out similar associations across the North West and beyond.
Commenting on the expansion, John Stevenson, Pareto Managing Director, said:
“While we already offer mortgages for clients, this includes outsourcing to banks and brokers. As part of our expansion, we’re seeking to bring this in-house.
“Pareto’s growth relies on introductions from accountants, lawyers and general insurance brokers. We now aim to expand this remit to include estate agents. To this end, we’ll be positioning specialist staff in their offices to be marketed as in-house advisers.” He said.
The restructuring will increase Pareto’s specialist team to 23 and comes on the back of a very successful 2013, details of which are due to be announced in the near future.
