Warrington app developer signed by Reebok
Warrington-based mobile app development agency Appitized has recently been signed by Reebok to create their new mobile app- an idea designed to put the fun into fitness.
Appitized, which was founded in 2012, is in the process of development on behalf of Reebok for their Fitleague web app and mobile app.
Project manager Stephen Strong will be overseeing the development of the app and explained the purpose of this exciting new app concept.
He said: “the purpose of this app is to gamify fitness and encourage competition between athletes. It is a social platform where people can share scores and gym habits, and also view their score against other competitors.”
The app also keeps users updated on FitLeague-specific workouts, and informs them of the most recent articles relating to their fitness and training programme.
Appitized’s executive director, Jonathan Wilson said the acquisition of such a large brand will further improve the prospects for the company. He said: “It is great that Appitized are being chosen by such prestigious clients, who are requiring solutions which allow us to demonstrate our ability and creativity.”
