Yacht Club Outside pays a ‘visit’ to the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards
Liverpool-based caterer Yacht Club Outside is celebrating the best of the City Region, having been announced as the official caterer at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards.
The company, which is led by locally-renowned chef proprietor Adam Franklin and based at Yacht Club Liverpool, won a five-way pitch for the business having initially submitted a tender for the work. Adam and his team will be providing a selection of canapés and a three course meal based on celebrated local dishes and produce for up to 500 guests at the awards ceremony, which is taking place at St George’s Hall.
Now in their third decade, the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards showcase the very best of what the area has to offer. The Awards have 16 different categories this year, which cover the diverse elements of the industry.
Visitors to Liverpool City Region spend £3.4 billion a year supporting 46,000 jobs in the local economy in sectors such as accommodation, food and drink and retail. The Visitor Economy has improved beyond recognition in recent years with regeneration projects such as Liverpool ONE, ACC Liverpool, the cruise terminal, and the Museum of Liverpool. Designation as a World Heritage site in 2004, European Capital of Culture 2008. The awards celebrate the very best that the Visitor Economy has to offer.
