Miller Homes Unveils Showhomes At Wheatfields

Leading housebuilder Miller Homes has opened the doors to the eagerly awaited showhomes at its latest development, Wheatfields in Seaton Delaval.

Potential buyers can now explore the two stylish four-bedroom showhomes, The Esk and The Buchan, at the popular semi-rural location.

The traditional layout of The Esk showhome features a spacious lounge to the front of the property with the kitchen and dining area to the rear. With four good-sized bedrooms to the first floor, The Esk offers the perfect living space for a wide range of buyers.

A generous family home, The Buchan offers a flexible layout. The showhome’s spacious hall opens onto a large lounge with French doors overlooking the garden. The addition of a utility room offers added convenience to the impressively long kitchen and dining room, while four well-proportioned bedrooms and a separate study create an ideal home for growing families.

Flanked by open farmland and mature trees, every home at Wheatfields is built to the highest standard. With prices starting from £177,200 for three-bedroom homes and from £242,950 for four-bedroom homes, currently available at the development is the three-bedroom Tolkien and Tweed as well as the four-bedroom Crompton, Glenmuir and Buchan.

Miller Homes North East’s associate sales director, Karl Morton said: “Following its launch earlier this year, Wheatfields has already become an extremely popular development amongst a variety of buyers. The unveiling of its showhomes has certainly created increased interest with a large number of buyers visiting over the showhomes’ opening weekend.

“Located just three miles from Northumberland’s stunning coastline and on the edge of Seaton Delaval village, Wheatfields is also perfectly situated within easy commuting distance of Newcastle, making it a great location for home buyers.

“We’re also delighted to offer a selection of purchase incentives at Wheatfields which are designed to help people make their next move, including our Home Exchange scheme and Help to Buy.”

The Government-backed Help to Buy scheme offers assistance for buyers who only have a deposit of 5% through the provision of a 20% equity loan from the Government for those who meet the qualifying criteria, meaning buyers could only need to secure up to a 75% mortgage from a provider.

For those with an existing property to sell, Home Exchange from Miller Homes allows people to swap their current home for one of the leading housebuilder’s selected plots, regardless of whether they are looking to upsize, downsize or swap like-for-like.

The scheme offers a cash buyer for the property and also eliminates advertising costs and estate agents’ fees. Once Miller Homes confirms that a property qualifies for Home Exchange, an offer could be made within seven days and once a price has been agreed and a new Miller home to move to has been chosen, the transaction can progress quickly.
