Liverpool hosts Gin Party in Sefton Park
The Palm House in Liverpool’s Sefton Park is to play host to the region’s largest ever gin party.
The party has been organised by the makers of Liverpool Gin to celebrate its increasing popularity across Merseyside in the past year.
Guests at the party can enjoy gin tastings, a ‘perfect serve’ tutorial, speciality gin cocktails, expert speakers and an interactive garnish bar.
Jazz music will also be on the menu, courtesy of the Martin Smith band, with several other acts to be announced ahead of the event, which takes place on the eve of World Gin Day.
Liverpool Gin is a premium organic product made using only pure certified organic botanicals, producing a highly distinctive, aromatic drink.
The brainchild of Liverpool Organic Brewery managing director Mark Hensby and head distiller John O’Dowd, it is produced in limited, numbered batches at a site in Kirkdale.
The pair have been working hard to create eye-catching serving suggestions with accompaniments including watermelon, juniper berries, orange zest and mint leaves.
The Palm House Gin Party takes place from 5pm to 10pm on Friday 13 June. Entry tickets cost £10 and include a speciality gin glass, welcome drink, event programme and live entertainment.
