Parkers brings Rock n ‘Roll’ to fashion week
Parkers Executive Chauffeurs brought rock and ‘roll’ to Newcastle Fashion Week as official chauffeur to the star-studded event.
The national award winning business, which is based on Tyneside and Teesside, was once again on-hand as the official chauffeur sponsor throughout the fashion extravaganza’s fourth successful year.
Specialising in discreet, stylish transportation, Parkers remained the perfect choice to ensure that Fashion Week’s VIPs arrived at the catwalks and parties in style, with distinguished guests and exhibitors transported to each venue in a fleet of luxury Mercedes Benz vehicles.
Fashion Week culminated in a glittering ticket-only event at luxury jewellers Rox’s flagship Monument Mall store on Friday, with Parkers ensuring the elegant arrival of VIPs such as BBC Look North weather presenter, Hannah Bayman, YouTube makeup and beauty sensation, Lauren Luke and business luminary, Helen Barbour.
“It’s always a great pleasure to be involved in a huge cultural showcase like Newcastle Fashion Week,” said Brian Rudd, Parkers Executive Chauffeurs’ Managing Director. “To be able to provide VIP transport to well-known faces like Hannah, Lauren and Helen to such fantastic events gave us a huge sense of pride in both our service and in the region as a whole.”
Taking place from Friday May 9, NE1’s Newcastle Fashion Week played host to a number of designers, brands and fashionistas from around the country, as well as highlighting some exceptional home-grown talent across the fields of fashion and modelling.
Parkers Executive Chauffeurs was established in Newcastle in 2002 and has since gone on to become the number one name in luxury corporate transport throughout the region, providing chauffeur driven cars, chauffeur hire and luxury coach hire across the North East.
Indeed, the firm recently gained national acclaim by winning the Professional Driver Magazine Chauffeur Company of the Year Award 2013.
Newcastle Fashion Week is presented by NE1, a business-led initiative which aims to champion Newcastle city centre, increase its competitiveness and ensure it maintains its position as one of the UK’s leading cities.
