The PA Hub partners with Leeds Bradford Airport to expand in York

The PA Hub, a network for senior PAs and administrators is coming to York in partnership with Leeds Bradford Airport.

The PA Hub, will be holding a launch event in York on 3 June, 6:00pm – 9:00pm, at the National Railway Museum.

Building on the success of The PA Hub in Leeds and working in partnership with Leeds Bradford Airport, the event will feature exhibitors, guest speakers and networking.

All local assistants including PAs, EAs and VAs are welcome to register and attend this free event. Keynote speaker Donna Coulling (Celebrity PA to Helena Bonham-Carter and Rachel Weisz) is widely-known as an expert in her field, having made numerous TV appearances and has run many seminars on ‘How to be a better PA’.

Other speakers include Tony Hallwood, Aviation development & marketing director, Leeds Bradford Airport and Ann Dunford, PA to the senior partner at Garbutt & Elliott in York. Ann has a career spanning a wide variety of industries and she is currently Forward Ladies Yorkshire PA of the Year.

Speaking about the forthcoming launch in York Marion Lowrence, director of The PA Hub said, ’I am very excited to be launching in York where I see a great deal of opportunities for senior PAs to network and exchange ideas.

“Our speakers are of the highest calibre and we feel we have found a successful formula in Leeds that works well for our members which we can now bring to the city of York.’ Following the launch event, The PA Hub will hold ten events throughout the year at leading York venues, offering a range of flexible membership options.

Alan Cass, Events Manager at the NRM said, ‘We are delighted that The PA Hub has chosen the National Railway Museum for its launch. This is a great opportunity for us to link up with a highly influential group of event organisers in the city.’

Launched in Leeds in 2013 by Marion and Jon Lowrence, The PA Hub brings together senior PAs from all sectors of industry and commerce across Yorkshire. With over 150 members, The PA Hub offers networking as well as personal and career development opportunities through high quality training and access to services.

Founder Marion Lowrence, an award-winning PA herself, has had an extensive career working in various administration and management roles with the Civil Service and the NHS as well as Yorkshire Universities where she was PA to the CEO for ten years.
