Clough & Willis to stage maternity & family employment event
Bury based law firm Clough & Willis has announced its next Employment Law event will be taking place on Thursday 12th June and will cover the topic of Maternity and Family rights.
The event is aimed at local businesses. There have been many changes in recent times in respect of entitlements relating to time off for “family” related reasons and more are still to come.
Amy Ross-Sercombe, solicitor in the firm’s Employment team, will review the current entitlements and explore the less obvious rights afforded to those with dependants; this will include examining the position of employees requesting a flexible working arrangement and time off for domestic emergencies.
Amy will also discuss with attendees the issues they have faced in their own organisations and methods of limiting problems arising.
Date: Thursday 12th June
Times: 7.30am to 9.00am
Venue: Clough & Willis Solicitors, 2 Manchester Road, Bury, BL9 0DT
Cost: Free
Booking: Via clare.trippier@clough-willis.co.uk
