Halifax foundry and dental supplies firm doubles exports, opens new office and wins award
Halifax-based foundry and dental supplies company John Winter & Co. has reported a period of record growth, been awarded a prestigious business accolade, following a period of record growth.
Huddersfield Town FC has named John Winter its latest ‘Shooting Star’, a business that has made a significant difference to the region.
The award follows a doubling of exports for the firm and the opening of its new foundry sales office at its headquarters in Halifax.
John Winter now supplies foundry materials to over 40 countries worldwide through an established network of agents and distribution channels across Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
Dale Lister, managing director at John Winter, said: “We’re delighted to receive this award after celebrating an increase in sales.
“We’re proud to be based in West Yorkshire and it’s good to see that other businesses in the region recognise and appreciate our work.”
Sean Jarvis, commercial director at Huddersfield Town FC, said: “The Shooting Star award marks the achievements of businesses in West Yorkshire which are making a difference to the area and John Winter certainly fits the criteria.
“It is an ambitious, successful company and deserves to be honoured for its achievements.”
