Ve Interactive announce 2014 UK growth to date

British-founded Ve Interactive has annouced the figure of its UK hires to date since January 2014. 111 new staff have been added at the company’s London HQ, to meet demand for its products and services in the UK market, and to continue to build on its strategic path of delivering robust software solutions for the global e-commerce industry.

These latest appointments are part of Ve’s recruitment plan for the next phase of its UK business growth as the company’s CEO, David J. Brown explained:

“We are actively committed to delivering best-in-class solutions to online businesses worldwide and so our recruitment drive is continuing, with more people joining us in London later this month too!”

On the back of Prime Minister David Cameron’s recent tweet that the government had reached a “major milestone” in its long term economic plan, with “two million new private sector jobs since 2010,” David Brown added:

“We are all very proud that Ve, at only 4 & 1/2 years old, continues to contribute positively to this improvement in the national employment figures.”

The 111 new hires have already resulted in Ve acquiring a new building this year. Also based in Clerkenwell, the Hardwick Street space now forms a campus with the two existing buildings on Bakers Row, the glue between them; the VeCafé serving free breakfasts and subsidised lunches, and the VIP lounge with its coffee bar by day and wine & games bar by night.

The five-storey Hardwick Street building has now become the base for Ve’s commercial team and for its brand new conference and event space, the penthouse ‘VeLoft.’ This has already housed the first ever VeForum on Digital Marketing for the Education Sector and hosted Enterprise Nation’s Fashion Exchange.

Meanwhile Ve’s 12 other offices around the world have also been expanding their own workforces this year.
