De Poel Clarity Appointed Onto Important Public Healthcare Framework

Cheshire-based de Poel Clarity – the independent and vendor neutral expert in managing temporary workforces in the NHS and private health and care sectors – has been awarded a place on the G-Cloud framework to provide Software As A Service (SaaS) by the Government’s Crown Commercial Service.

The company, which manages the relationships between a select panel of recruitment agencies and clients in the public and private sectors – including NHS Trusts, local Government and blue-chip private healthcare organisations – has been accepted onto the G-Cloud 5 Framework. This will enable public healthcare organisations to purchase its innovative software, e-tips®, through online marketplace, CloudStore.

The web-based technology enables organisations to control and forecast spend when managing non-permanent staffing requirements – delivering transparency, visibility and compliance through greater management information.

Andrew Preston, managing director of de Poel Clarity, said: “The G-Cloud 5 contract is a significant step forward, as we look to expand our network of clients in the public healthcare arena. The framework agreement will enable organisations to recognise hidden administration costs and burdens associated with non-permanent staffing, allowing them to pay for the service as they use it rather than being tied into an inflexible, long-term contract.”

CloudStore is a Government-led online catalogue containing details of suppliers and their services. It allows all Government departments, devolved administrations, local authorities, wider public sector bodies and arm’s length bodies to buy services from more than 1,500 suppliers and more than 17,000 services across all types of cloud service models.

Preston added: “Creating greater efficiencies and improved service delivery across the NHS continue to dominate the news and political agendas. It’s little wonder, as the task of controlling the procurement of temporary staff can be an impossible task and one that some organisations simply have no control over. The award of this contract will allow us to work hand-in-hand with all public healthcare bodies to implement a clear, effective and cost-effective system that will produce the kind of savings that the NHS is looking for.”

To date, e-tips® has processed over two billion hours, 60,000 timesheets per week, and has delivered multi-million pound savings for an extensive range of clients responsible for the provision of healthcare services to NHS patients.
