Housebuilder welcomes planning approval in Bishop Sutton

Charles Church Severn Valley has welcomed the decision by Bath & North East Somerset Council to grant planning permission for 35 new homes in Bishop Sutton.

Built on an existing paddock and surrounded by open fields, the exclusive development will comprise one, two, three, four and five-bedroom homes located off the A368. Work is due to commence later this year.

Carl Haley, managing director for Charles Church Severn Valley, said: “This prestigious new development will provide a stunning range of Charles Church house designs. Bishop Sutton is a delightful, rural village on the edge of the Chew Valley Lake and has excellent facilities nearby including schools, shops and several restaurants and pubs.

“The properties will suit those looking to own their first home, growing families and those wanting to downsize. As there is no other new build in the area, we anticipate these homes to be most sought after by those wanting to live in a rural location, but within a close commuting distance of Bristol city centre and Bath.

“All properties will offer the same level of quality and luxury living that has become synonymous with Charles Church thanks to the attention of detail that is paid at every stage of the construction process.”

Charles Church has an unrivalled reputation for the design and quality of the homes it builds – providing a range of premium homes in modern and traditional styles.
