Advanced Health & Care (Advanced), a leading supplier of IT solutions to the health and care sector, will be hosting a seminar at Health+Care 2014 (25th and 26th June 2014 at the Excel Exhibition and Conference Centre in London). The seminar is being hosted in partnership with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust (‘the Trust’). Advanced is also showcasing its product suite on stand O30 at Health+Care.

The seminar, ‘Mobile Working – changing our relationship with records, systems and patients’, which will focus on both organisations’ shared vision of the future of mobile working is taking place at 2pm on 26th June in the mHealth & Clinical Systems stream.

Advanced recently secured a multi-million pound, five year contract with the Trust following a formal tendering process. The software company will provide an electronic health record (EHR) solution to support the Trust’s delivery of integrated community and mental health services.

Jim Chase, Managing Director, Advanced Health & Care says, “We are looking forward to co-presenting at Health+Care with Oxford. The seminar will highlight the Trust’s move away from the National Programme for IT in order to support its 6,500 staff, including 2,500 mobile clinicians, in delivering better care to patients in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset.”

The speakers will also discuss the Trust’s recent success with the Nursing Tech Fund, through which the Trust has been granted extra budget in order to help mobilise its workforce.

Health+Care is the only show in the UK that brings together delegates from the entire health and social care sector to highlight key topics within the industry and to encourage the sharing of best practice. More than 7,000 professionals will gather for 12 conference streams.

Advanced will also be exhibiting on stand O30, showcasing its product suite which includes Adastra, Advanced Community, Carenotes, Caresys, Crosscare, iConnect, iNurse, Odyssey, PathfinderRF and Staffplan.
