TIS Announce Successful Installation At Hagley Road Retirement Village
TIS, one of the UK’s leading independent fire, security and communications specialists, has recently completed the installation of systems in the Hagley Road Retirement Village for ExtraCare.
Covering seven acres of land, the complex, which was recently featured on ITV, houses 350 residents in over 240 apartments and boasts a variety of facilities including a fitness gym, a library, green house, restaurants, guest facilities, garden, community centre and a hobby room. Every room is fully equipped with kitchen, living room, shower rooms and many have a sizeable balcony, to encourage independent living.
TIS won the contract following the successful completion of retirement villages in Milton Keynes and Aston and is now working on a new flagship development by Extracare in Bournville.
Installing a new latest technology system specifically developed with Extracare, TIS installed a system which uses a fibre network to deliver many additional features and benefits to residents and staff. Several other developers have shown a keen interest in the system and are in discussion with TIS.
The whole project was managed by TIS Head of Contracts, Mark Wilson, he said: “We are proud to be associated with Extracare, helping them keep abreast of new technologies and systems to provide the best for their residents, and look forward to a long and happy relationship.”
