Former Sunderland Empire bar undergoes £50k renovation
Sunderland Empire has announced the opening of a luxury Ambassador Lounge in place of the former Vesta Tilley bar.
The project is part of the Ambassador Theatre Groups (ATG) ongoing commitment to invest into capital projects to enhance the customer experience.
The transformation is worth £50,000 and is now home to a luxurious 32 seat lounge area with sumptuous furnishings and surroundings accompanied by a dedicated and exclusive service.
Customers are expected to pay a minimum £15 supplement to their ticket to have access to the Ambassador Lounge.
Sunderland Empire has had a year of recently record-breaking sales thanks to the appearance of West End shows including Lion King, Jersey Boys, War Horse and Wicked.
Ben Phillips, General Manager, Sunderland Empire said “It is great to offer our customers a more luxurious experience to complement their visit even further. We have received exceptional feedback from customers who have enjoyed the quiet and ambient surroundings accompanied by a one-on-one service in the new Ambassador Lounge.
The Ambassador Lounge is also offering a bespoke packages for customers to further enhance their theatre experience and gives customers the opportunity to make their visit even more memorable.“
