New homes in South Petherton snapped up by buyers
Homes are in high demand at a South Petherton development as more than half the properties have sold in just a matter of weeks.
Persimmon Homes South West launched Farley Fields earlier this year with buyers falling instantly in love with its choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes.
“The development is proving popular with first-time buyers, professional couples, growing families and downsizers,” said Nina Hester, sales and marketing director for Persimmon Homes South West.
“We initially launched 12 homes at Farley Fields in February and they all sold very quickly. We have since released further plots with more than half of them now sold.
“I would urge anyone interested in living here to visit our marketing suite sooner rather than later as the homes continue to sell fast.”
South Petherton is only nine miles from the bustling town of Yeovil, providing great facilities for homeowners with Ilminster just five miles away. It has great access to the A303 for commuters with Taunton only a short distance away and Bristol just over an hour away.
Nina added: “Farley Fields does offer the best of both worlds, as not only is it surrounded by rural countryside, it is also well placed to reach larger towns. South Petherton itself has great facilities, including a post office, library, a hospital, pubs and restaurants.
“The Government-backed Help to Buy scheme is just one of the reasons why Farley Fields is proving so popular as it enable people to move into their dream home with a low deposit.”
Help to Buy is a shared equity scheme where buyers only need a 5% deposit and are eligible for a 20% loan on the term of a mortgage, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years.
