UK firm advises French data centre on ISO22301

A UK based organisation has been instrumental in helping an international data centre company achieve ISO 22301, the international standard for business continuity management, at its French HQ.

Thanks to Yorkshire and Warwickshire based Jermyn Consulting help and support, TelecityGroup France is one of the first French companies to gain the highly acclaimed accreditation.

Jermyn Consulting has worked with TelecityGroup at its UK operations since 2010 supporting the leading UK data centre business embed a robust business continuity management system (BCMS) in its London and Manchester operations. The UK operations had previously achieved BS25999, and successfully migrated across to the ISO standard when it came into force.

As one of Europe’s leading providers of premium carrier-neutral data centres, with offices in 11 cities, it is important that the London Stock Exchange listed company has robust and stringent systems in place when it comes to continuity of its own operations. Rolling out ISO22301 across Europe is part of TelecityGroup’s strategy to demonstrate to all its customers that it has implemented effective procedures to protect its operations and continue as normal in the event of an incident.
