Tech Start-Up To Create £3 million Worth of Jobs in London

Britain’s fastest growing tech company is to almost double its staff size with a massive recruitment drive worth £3 million this summer.

MVF, based in Kentish Town in North London, is looking for 100 more employees to join its current workforce of 150 over the next few months.

The digital marketing company will release one job description a day for 100 days using the hashtag #100jobs100days on Twitter and Facebook.

CEO Titus Sharpe has seen his company grow rapidly since he founded it with friends in a basement five years ago.

He said: “By the end of 2014, MVF’s workforce will have increased fifty fold since I set it up in 2009 which is absolutely incredible. One of the key catalysts for MVF’s rapid growth is the huge amount of talented British and International jobseekers in London right now.

“I am hugely excited about the tech scene here in London and I’m thrilled MVF will be contributing a further £3 million back into the local economy.”

The company has 1,500 clients, including British Gas, Mars and Nestle, in over 50 countries and is currently turning over £25m this current financial year up from £257,000 in 2010.

MVF has already undergone record job application numbers, with a staggering 1,600 applying for a digital marketing role in March and over 1,000 applying for a video editor role in May.

The jobs will be in various fields, including the main aspects of Digital Marketing ranging from SEO, PPC to CRO and Email Marketing, Business Development, Account Management, Finance and Technology and Web Development.

MVF was founded in 2009 by five friends - Titus Sharpe, Tom Morgan, Jules Hopkinson, David Walton and Simon Venturi - after they sold their lead generation business, Approved Index, to Reed Elsevier in 2008.

Its online marketplaces include MoveHub, Expert Market, The Eco Experts, Clinic Compare and VomFachman

It scooped 41st place in in the 2014 Sunday Times Best 100 Small Companies to work for in the UK, and the 20th best in London.

Earlier this year it was one of only an elite group of companies recognised as a deserving winner of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade
