Sky Blues Stadium Tours takes tourism award
The Manchester City FC Stadium and Club Tour has won an award from travel website Tripadvisor.
The five-star “Certificate of Excellence” signifies that the behind the scenes look at life at the Etihad Stadium and history of Manchester City has consistently earned outstanding feedback from Tripadvisor travelers.
As well as being ranked number 1 in Tripadvisor’s 49 activities to do in Manchester, the club tours also feature alongside the likes of The Lowry, Manchester Art Gallery and Science and Industry Museum in a special “Three days in Manchester” piece as a must-see attraction.
The Tour has also been praised by Visit England, the government-backed Tourist Board.
Visit England commented: “The Manchester City Etihad Stadium Tour offers a very enjoyable visitor experience, and the new aspects added to the content of the tour have greatly enhanced the overall experience this year.
“It is particularly good to see the added historical aspects, the exhibition of the future plans and work the club does in the community”.
