Leading Water and Wastewater Solutions Company Introduces Market First Advanced Manufacturing Technology
A north east water and wastewater treatment company – and one of the UK’s industry leaders - has invested in exclusive new manufacturing technology that is set to significantly increase production capabilities and produce a 20% growth in turnover at the firm’s Peterlee plant.
Conder Aqua Solutions started production using the new state of the art rotomoulding machinery last month and is one of the first wastewater companies in the UK to manufacture its tanks using this form of technology. Based at the company’s on site manufacturing plant in Peterlee, Co. Durham the new equipment is not only set to increase turnover but has already resulted in a higher skilled workforce with two teams being expertly trained to use the exclusive machinery.
Currently the company is manufacturing one of their newly designed products, the Conder septic tank, using this technology with systems already in place for another piece of rotomoulding machinery to be delivered late summer. This will be used to manufacture yet more new products from the Peterlee site.
Looking to the future, and as more products are redesigned, Conder will be manufacturing several more of its products in this way as it continues to invest in new technology and product improvements that it firmly believes will make it the industry leader in their field.
Stuart Wray, Managing Director at Conder said “The introduction of this new, more automated technology will open up a whole new range of market opportunities for us. The market is demanding more advanced technology that has an improved performance with the simplicity of use and for companies like ours that are prepared to respond to this demand, it’s great.
“By leading this development we are creating new technologies and new methods of manufacturing never before used and which are being delivered in the north east. For the region this means new skills, new opportunities and an increase in production from our Peterlee plant.”
This addition to the manufacturing plant is just one of many changes that has come as a result of Conders recent partnership with Canadian company and global water and wastewater specialist Premier Tech.
Conder Aqua Solutions offers a range of water and wastewater products including sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, storage solutions, oil/water separators and rainwater harvesting systems.
