Sunderland AFC in four-year sponsorship deal with food firm

Sunderland AFC has signed a four-year sponsorship deal with Buckinghamshire-headquartered foodservice firm Bidvest 3663.

Bidvest is part of the BFS Group, principal partner and shirt sponsor, and will work with the club catering team, as well as 1879 Events Management, the club’s external events division.

SAFC’s commercial director Gary Hutchinson said: “Bidvest 3663 are a market leader in their field and offer a proven quality solution to all of our catering needs.

“As part of the Bidvest family we already have a synergy with them and as the club’s innovative approach to catering and events continues to grow we are looking forward to further developing what is already a great partnership.”

Norman Wemyss, managing director of Bidvest 3663 North, said: “Working with a partner who operates within such an exciting, dynamic, diverse and extremely rewarding environment such as top flight football, is a challenge that Bidvest 3663 love to embrace.

“The dynamic team at Sunderland AFC always apply incredible effort, demonstrate fantastic innovation, but most of all a willingness to return on a true partnership.
