DeltaCredit selects Boldon James Classifier to secure information assets
Boldon James delivers data classification to drive DLP solution and prevent data loss incidents
Farnborough, July 17, 2014 – Boldon James, a QinetiQ company and leading provider of data classification and secure messaging solutions, today announced that is has been selected to provide DeltaCredit with user-driven data classification technology to protect its critical information assets. DeltaCredit is one of the largest banks in the Russian Federation in terms of mortgage lending volumes and is owned by Société Générale, one of Europe’s leading banking and financial services groups.
The deal, co-ordinated by Boldon James’ European elite reseller, Adacom, will see DeltaCredit implement Email, Office and File Classifier along with Outlook Web Application (OWA) and SharePoint Classifier across their 700-strong workforce. The products will be integrated with DeltaCredit’s existing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution provided by InfoWatch, giving predictable and meaningful metadata that greatly improves the performance and reliability of the DLP decision making process whilst reducing the likelihood of data loss.
“The goal of this project was to implement a solution that can help to manage our data. We evaluated a few solutions and chose Boldon James as they were the best in both price and quality,” commented Alex Lola, Chief Information Security Officer at DeltaCredit Bank. “With the implementation of Boldon James’s solution, our company has seen significant improvements to user awareness around the value of data. In combination with Data Loss Prevention systems, Boldon James has helped to mitigate many data leakage risks.”
Martin Sugden, Managing Director of Boldon James commented “We’re delighted to be working with DeltaCredit to help secure the information that is being created and used within the organisation. Investing in user-driven data classification technology to prevent data loss incidents is an important part of any layered security strategy and can provide valuable metadata to popular security solutions such as DLP. As one of the leading players in the Russian mortgage market, DeltaCredit have recognised the need to protect their most sensitive information from the point of creation, whilst being able to realise the performance benefits that Classifier can bring to their InfoWatch DLP solution”.
