First-time buyers urged to hurry as development selling out
First-time buyers in Nottinghamshire are being urged to hurry if they want to live on a popular development in Annesley.
Only a handful of two-bedroom properties remain at Jasmine Gardens; a new community being built by Persimmon Homes North Midlands. The development has attracted a wide cross-section of buyers including first-time, professional couples, growing families and those looking to downsize.
Sherrie Hankin, head of sales for Persimmon North Midlands, said: “The homes at Jasmine Gardens have been designed with modern living in mind, and it has proved popular because of this and the great choice on offer.
“Even though we only have a handful of properties left, people can still choose between a delightful two-bedroom apartment or a spacious two-bedroom coach house, which offers an alternative to apartment living.”
Both designs benefit from a spacious living room, with two good-sized bedrooms, one with an en suite.
Sherrie: “We believe that these properties are perfect for first-time buyers and, with schemes such as Help to Buy, it has never been a better time to get your foot on the property ladder.
“Jasmine Gardens is in a great location as it offers real tranquillity, surrounded by peaceful rural farmland. Plus the award-winning Portland Park Nature Reserve is also nearby, a great place for walkers, dog owners and birdwatchers.
“Annesley itself is known for its historical connection to the former colliery, and the Headstocks winding wheels have been made into a beautiful feature right at the front of our development.
“There are also great commuter links with Newstead train station nearby, giving access to Mansfield and Nottingham, as well as convenient access to the M1, A38 and A60.
“Anyone wanting more information is welcome to pop down to Jasmine Gardens and speak to our sales advisors who can advise them on the various schemes available to help them buy their dream home.”
Help to Buy is a shared equity scheme where buyers only need a 5% deposit and are eligible for a 20% loan on the term of a mortgage, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years.
