Runshaw Business Centre and BAE Systems toast success of apprentices
Twenty two BAE Systems Business Administration apprentices, working in a wide range of administrative roles across the Warton and Samlesbury sites, all achieved Distinctions in their level 3 Project Management module with Runshaw Business Centre.
Ross Coulter, of Runshaw Business Centre, said: ‘The success of this course is down to the Apprentices’ hard work and our great working relationship with BAE Systems. The willingness of BAE Systems’ managers to truly engage with this training, by providing real life projects, makes all the difference as it enables the apprentices to bring to life the Project Management life cycle’.
The course ends with the apprentices presenting their projects to groups of BAE Systems managers, representatives from the BAE Systems Apprenticeship team as well as representatives from the Runshaw Business Centre team.
Terri Sarre, Resource and People Development Manager at BAE Systems, said: “We are delighted that our apprentices have all achieved distinctions in their level 3 Project Management module.
“Our apprenticeship programme is something we are very proud of and this set of results shows that the mix of academic study and on-the-job experience is really paying off. These young people are an absolute credit to themselves, the college and BAE Systems.”
