IP EXPO Europe’s start-up fund offers free

IP EXPO Europe, Europe’s leading cloud and IT infrastructure event, today announces a competition, funded via its Start-UP fund, that will provide ten free exhibition and marketing packages in the Futures Den feature at this year’s event, held on the 8th and 9th of October at the ExCel Centre London. The packages will provide winning ventures with the opportunity to demonstrate to leaders from the enterprise IT world, how what they do could change the way that people do business.

The competition, which opens today, offers ten early stage businesses a complete exhibiting and marketing package in a dedicated feature with Ip EXPO Europe’s Futures Den. Each package is valued at over £5,000. A further ten start-ups will receive a free Futures Den speaking opportunity worth £1,500 each. A final five start-ups will receive a free entry to the Tech Trailblazers competition with £175 each.

IP EXPO Europe’s Futures Den puts some of the most exciting enterprise technology start-ups in front of over 1,500 visitors responsible for building, running and protecting IT infrastructure for Europe’s businesses and governments.

Futures Den will host a series of start-up panel debates, featuring experts from VC’s, accelerators, successful start-up founders, marketing, legal and accounting firms, which will provide insights to aid these early stage companies to plan their growth. There discussions will be complemented by a schedule of open networking sessions and lightning five minute start-up presentations from the competition winners. These will provide opportunities for the start-up community to connect with potential partners, distributors and end-users, and for IT decision makers to gain insight into newly developed and future technology.

“By enabling the developers of some of the most interesting new technologies to join us at this year’s IP EXPO Europe we hope to ensure that our visitors will be able to gain early insight into the technologies that will drive and ride the next wave of cloud services, datacentre, IT infrastructure and cyber security developments,” said Duncan Kirk, chief operating officer of Imago Techmedia, the organisers of IP EXPO Europe.

The Futures Den competition is open to privately funded companies under five years old, whose products or services fall into one of the following enterprise technology sectors: big data, cloud, mobile, networking, security, storage, sustainable IT and virtualisation. To enter, companies need to complete a brief form at http://www.ipexpo.co.uk/Futures-Den-Form, by the 31st of July. Winners will be selected by a public ballot.
