Law firm and its clients help local Hospice
Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors has thanked its generous clients who have helped the firm raise £3,740 for Hartlepool & District Hospice.
The law firm, which is head-quartered in Hartlepool, participated in the Hospice’s annual Make a Will Month fundraising campaign. Throughout May 2014, the Wills and Probate team offered to waive their regular client fee for the preparation of wills in return for a donation to the Hospice.
Partner Carolyn Tilly, who heads Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors’ Wills and Probate department, said: “We’ve collected all donations and were very pleased to be able to present the hospice with a cheque for £3,740. We know our clients are always keen to support the Hospice appeal, and their generosity is a clear indication of how much the people of Hartlepool value the service the Hospice provides.
Anne Gladwin, Trust Fundraiser for Hartlepool and District Hospice, added: “The Hospice relies on the generosity of people and businesses in the local area. We are once again grateful to Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors for their support. They have provided an excellent service, but waived their fees in favour of the charitable donations so that we can continue to provide our unique hospice services to patients and their families from the local communities of Hartlepool and East Durham.”
Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors is the Tees Valley’s largest full service law firm with offices in Hartlepool, Wynyard Park, Stockton on Tees and Barnard Castle.
