Property deals bring growth to Teesside
Leading chartered surveyors says it has brought a string of property deals which bring new growth to Teesside.
The Tees Valley offices of Sanderson Weatherall have completed a number of deals to help businesses relocate and expand in the area.
One of the most significant deals, for the purchase of 87 Willows Court on the Teesside Industrial Estate in Thornaby, near Stockton, saw five bids in the first week before it was bought by Middlesbrough-based Integraflex.
Sanderson Weatherall completed the deal for the 7,854 sq ft secure compound property on behalf of its client, RS Bruce, of Sheffield.
Teesside-based Matrix Power has also acquired a 6,000 sq ft unit on Mickleton Road, on the Riverside Industrial Estate, in Middlesbrough.
Jonathan Simpson, Partner at Sanderson Weatherall, said: “The Teesside market is vibrant at the moment and there are some significant businesses taking space which will allow them to grow.
“The interest in each of the good quality sites which has become available in recent months has been high, with multiple interested parties showing interest and bidding.
