Leeds Hotel wins international quality award
LEEDS HOTEL WINS INTERNATIONAL QUALITY AWARD FOR THIRD YEAR RUNNING
AN independent West Yorkshire hotel has joined a select group of Best Western Group hotels around the world for top quality and customer service for the third year consecutively.
Privately owned Best Western Plus Milford Hotel, situated on the outskirts of Leeds, has secured the Group’s International Quality and Service Award, a global recognition of those hotels performing at exceptionally high levels.
The 3 star hotel underwent stringent assessment over a 24 hour period, looking at brand standards, guest rooms and public areas and scored 995 points from a maximum of 1000.
Only 1 of 8 hotels in England to secure the coveted gong, which is the benchmark for quality and service for Best Western hotels and 1 of only 88 worldwide.
Shaun Sleath, hotel proprietor said: “We strive to offer our guests a perfect hotel stay every time and pride ourselves on the quality of our product and our high levels of customer service. We are absolutely delighted to receive the Best Western Group’s award for the third year running, which is testament to a first class team.”
The hotel, which has 44 modern bedrooms including 10 larger boutique-style deluxe rooms, was also one of the first hotels globally to be awarded the acclaimed ‘PLUS’ status and has benefited from a £500,000 5 year refurbishment programme, which was completed in 2012.
