The UK’s leading air movement and ventilation ductwork specialist, Hargreaves, has appointed Shaun Byrne as the company’s new National Sales Manager for its northern Trade Counter network.
As the former European Sales Manager for Kingspan Insulation, Mr Byrne has close to 20 years’ experience working in both UK and European markets.
He joins Hargreaves with a successful sales track record and extensive market knowledge and will play a key role in delivering Hargreaves’ Trade Counter growth ambitions.
Mr Byrne’s previous sales experience also includes working with Rockwool Insulation and Travis Perkins. With his extensive industry contacts, Shaun is ideally placed to capitalise on Hargreaves’ existing network of seven Trade Counters, five of which are located in his area of focus.
Hargreaves’ Trade Operations Director, Dave Archer, said: “During the past year we have invested heavily in our Trade Counter network, including the opening of a new operation in Aberdeen.
“Shaun’s appointment brings valuable sector knowledge to our team and will be instrumental in achieving our expansion plans and building upon Hargreaves’ excellent reputation in the industry.”
A key part of his role will involve growing sales of Hargreaves’ extensive trade product range which includes Fire Rated Ductwork, Flat Oval, Powder Coated and Stainless Steel.
Mr Byrne said: “Thanks to the knowledge and experience I’ve gained in my previous roles in the industrial and commercial sector, I am confident I can play a key role in ensuring we achieve our targets, securing new business and continuing to build strong relationships with existing customers.
“I am delighted to be taking on a role with such a dynamic organisation that has an industry-leading reputation for providing product quality and design innovation”
