Car Show benefits local hospice with help of Gala Tent
On the 12th and 13th July, Wakefield’s picture perfect country estate house Nostell Priory hosted Fueled Society Car Show for the third year running. The show was a two day event with camping in the priory’s beautiful grounds, and attracted over 4000 people with over 800 cars on show. The cars ranged from classic Rolls Royces and Volkswagens to full on Hot-rods, to slammed super cars. During the weekend event, every vehicle that made it on to the display field were automatically entered to be judged for the show’s Awards.
The weekend also raises money for the Wakefield Hospice, and has had a lot of support from many local companies. One such company is Gala Tent Ltd, a marquee and gazebo manufacturing company based in South Yorkshire who supplied the car show with a 4mx8m printed marquee free of charge in exchange for sponsorship. The event was a roaring success with thousands attending and lots of family activities going on including a very entertaining marshmallow eating competition.
Jason Mace, Managing Director of Gala Tent said “As a company, we have loved being a part of this festival, which is growing larger every year. We even saw quite a few of our marquees and gazebos being used by other traders! It’s great to be involved with this local festival and knowing that we are helping raise for charity is even better”.
Fueled Society are always on the lookout for new sponsors from local businesses, for more info contact them on their website.
