Hartlepool media production company celebrates ongoing success
A Hartlepool-based film, video and animation company is working at full stretch to meet the growing demand for its services from blue-chip companies that include all of Europe’s steel producers.
ISOS Films moved into new offices at UK Steel Enterprise’s Innovation Centre on the Queens Meadow Business Park just a few months ago but is already working on expansion plans to keep pace with an ever-increasing number of projects.
David Evans, who set up the company in 2012 with brothers Paul and Andy Martin, said: “We are very pleased with our growth to date. We now have an ideal base and have invested in a specially equipped wagon for location shoots and equipment that includes two opticopters, remote control drones that are proving highly valuable for photographing roofs for insurance companies and other aerial work.”
The partners combined expertise and experience in film and video production, animation and photography means that ISOS Films can offer a unique set of skills from working in hazardous and dangerous environments to specialist services such as aerial, time-lapse and interactive films.
Clients come from the pharmaceutical, energy, oil and gas, transport, chemical, steel, logistics and other sectors and include Ineos, P D Ports, EDF Energy, Draeger, Harsco and Hartlepool-based waste management experts Niramax.
Peter Taylor, area manager for UK Steel Enterprise, said: “We invested in a fibre optic broadband connection for our tenants because we know that the high speed, data allowances and download capabilities it provides are very important to businesses like ISOS Films.
“All the facilities at our two Innovation Centres, from easy-in easy-out terms, affordable rents and free parking to meeting rooms and a manned reception area, are designed specifically to support new and young growing businesses.”
