Foundry wins £1 million account with UK’s top pawnbrokers
Manchester agency, The Foundry, has been selected to handle all the above and below-the-line marketing communications for Albemarle Bond and Herbert Brown, in a seven figure deal.
From a single shop in Bristol, Albemarle Bond had grown to become one of Britain’s biggest providers of pawnbroking, financial services and jewellery sales, with over 104 stores all over the UK.
Part of the same group, Herbert Brown was founded in Leeds back in 1840 and today, has 23 stores nationwide offering a range of safe, secure methods of unlocking cash tied up in gold jewellery, quality watches and diamonds.
Steve Plowman Chief Officer, said, “The group is entering a phase of significant development and we need an agency with the skills and strategic vision to help us achieve our objectives. The Foundry brings together years of knowledge and marketing credentials to help us build our business with creative flair and commercial common sense”.
The Foundry is tasked with developing all aspects of the marketing strategy.
Managing Director of The Foundry, Kevin Murphy, added, “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Albemarle Bond and Herbert Brown. This is a fast-paced environment with an unusual mix of financial services and retail – it is good to see that our experience in both sectors has been recognised – we certainly have the skills to meet their high expectations.
