Playnation teams up with Sega and Ice
Playnation, the UK’s leading business in the family entertainment machine sector, has designed Grab and Win, an innovative new crane.
Produced with Sega and Ice, the new crane combines cutting-edge technology with traditional entertainment.
Playnation, which was established in 2013 following a management buyout backed by Palatine Private Equity, is a market leader for family entertainment centres and currently operates over 20,000 machines in over 1,500 locations.
The mechanic means that settings can be chosen (off site) based on the size, the weight and the sound associated with each toy, for a more engaging experience.
Mark Field, Commercial Director for Playnation said, “We decided that we needed a crane to suit our business, which is slightly different to most operators - we have a lot of unmanned locations and we also try and standardize our offer across the whole of our operation. Not only is this an innovation within the category, but its another step for us to ensure our customers, and their customers, have the best experience possible when using our machines.”
