V1 wins prestigious environmental award for learning and training management software

V1 Ltd, a business automation software specialist, has scooped a Green Apple Award in the Science & Technology category for its learning and training management solution (LTM). This is the 12th consecutive year that V1 has won a Green Apple Award.

The company was recognised for the way V1 LTM provides a greener and more cost effective way of managing training and learning through the online delivery of learning and resources.

The Green Apple Awards are run by independent environment group, The Green Organisation, and honours companies that demonstrate environmental best practice. The awards are well established as being one of the most influential environmental award schemes worldwide. V1 will receive its award at a ceremony at the House of Parliament in London on 10 November 2014.

V1 LTM enables organisations to drastically reduce their paper consumption as all course materials, from enrolment through to certification, are available online for delegates to download through a ‘self-serve’ system. This negates the need to print out, photocopy, post and manually file documents. It is also helping organisations to save tens of thousands of pounds per annum through savings in postage, filing, printing, photocopying and staffing.

Many large organisations, including the British Red Cross, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, OCR, the NSPCC and the English Cricket Board use V1 LTM. The fully automated solution can deliver all aspects of learning, training and CPD, whether they are face-to-face or blended learning programmes, including e-commerce bookings, confirmations, registration and attendance data. The solution can also be configured to meet individual requirements, such as accommodation and membership.
