IT firm on recruitment drive after moving into Sunderland Software Centre
Technically Compatible Ltd has moved into the Sunderland Software Centre as it prepares itself for growth after a MBO.
The business, which was – until earlier this month – a sister company of Sunderland’s The Test Factory, uses skills testing technology to help companies find IT professionals with the right capabilities.
The intention is that its current team will be added to with new technology, sales and support teams over the next few months.
Carl Jones, managing director of Technically Compatible, said the move to the centre was an important step in ensuring that the business was in the right place to accommodate exciting plans for growth and development.
He said: “Technically Compatible really does offer game-changing technology. A CV cannot show the technical ability of individual applicants, and that’s where our technology comes in for clients, allowing them to set their measures and create a test that will assess job applicants’ skills and help determine their suitability for the role.
“We know that the market is vast and we’re already starting to become established. It’s not just IT businesses that will benefit from Technically Compatible’s offer – and that’s what gives the company global potential, with large employers and small to medium sized companies all potential customers.”
He added: “We have two recruitment events taking place – one on Thursday, August 21 and another on Saturday, August 23 – where people can come to find out more about the roles we have available, and we hope to find up to three developers to join us in the Software Centre immediately. That really is only the start of our plans.”
