Sheffield Blades travel in style after signing deal with Bayliss

Sheffield United Football Club have announced they have agreed a deal which sees Bayliss Executive Travel Ltd become the club’s official travel partner.

After successfully transporting the Blades to last season’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley, the Kent-based firm are now responsible for all first-team executive away travel.

As part of the deal, the Blades players and coaching staff will travel to away games in a luxury coach featuring screens, kitchen, leather seats and other executive facilities.

Paul Reeves, head of commercial at Sheffield United, said: “We’re delighted to announce this deal with Bayliss Executive Travel Ltd, who have long been fans of the club. We hope this is the start of a great long-term partnership.”

Alistair Bayliss, managing director of Bayliss Executive Travel and a director at Margate FC, said: “When you are involved with a club, you learn to love it. We have had a great relationship with Sheffield United over the years and although my first club is Aberdeen, I am very much a Blade also.

“We are extremely proud to be the club’s official supplier of travel and wish the team all the very best for the season.”

Bayliss, who celebrated their 10th anniversary this year, have 14 coaches and executive vehicles and work with a lot of sporting organisations across the UK as well as providing a range of other services including cruise ship transfers.
