Tiny Lives Receives A Huge Donation From Pattinson

LEADING North East estate agency Pattinson has raised thousands of pounds in aid of tiny lives born across the region during its annual family fun day.

The Pattinson team has raised £3,500 in aid of the North East charity, which helps premature and sick new born babies and their families at the Neonatal Unit at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary.

As part of the annual Pattinson Family Fun Day its staff and their families enjoyed a day of entertainment including a bouncy castle, a mini racing track and a magician with a few tricks up his sleeve.

Guests of honour during the event was Pattinson employee Lucy Webster, her partner Graham and their son Will, who has benefitted directly from the charity after he was born 16 weeks prematurely.

Pattinson’s managing director, Caroline Pattinson, said: “We are always keen to give thanks to local charities that help our staff in either their working or personal lives, and we’re delighted to support the remarkable work tirelessly carried out by Tiny Lives.

“During our annual Pattinson Family Fun Day the team managed to raise an incredible £1,685, which the company has been delighted to match, taking the grand total up to £3,500.

“Our team works hard every day to help people move into their dream homes as they begin new a chapter in their lives, while this charity does an amazing job in helping new parents across the region who have started their new chapter earlier than expected.

“As a longstanding family-run business our team is extremely important to us and the company is built on strong family values with community spirit running through its core, so it is key that we recognise the hard work of our staff and celebrate as a team, whilst also raising money for a fantastic cause.”

The annual Pattinson Family Fun Day forms part of a series of fundraising activities that the company will be participating in in aid of Tiny Lives throughout the year.

Lucy Webster said: “We were thrilled to find out that Tiny Lives was Pattinson’s chosen charity for 2014, and being invited as honorary guests at the family fun day made it all the more special.

“When Will was born the Neonatal Unit staff couldn’t do enough for us and offered a lot of emotional and physical support. We wanted to somehow express our gratitude to the team and it wonderful that as a company Pattinson is helping our family to do this.

“Will is now six-months-old and doing really well, something that may never have been possible without Tiny Lives.”
