Dunelm is First Choice Second Time Around for Michael and Vivien
Michael and Vivien Allison from Blyth might have cut the apron strings with their children but they’d prefer to keep their ties to Dunelm Homes. Having lived at Dunelm’s Highfield development for the past 12 years, when it came time to move to a new home after their children flew the nest, the couple had no hesitation in turning to Dunelm Homes once again.
Michael, an Area Development Manager for Timpson and Vivien – a paediatric outreach oncology nurse specialist, have now snapped up their second Dunelm property and moved into a 4-bedroom home at The Chase on the outskirts of Blyth.
Michael said: “When we visited The Chase we fell in love with the development and once we saw the property we were sold! We reserved our plot in Phase One and only had to wait two months before we could move in which was great. Having lived in a Dunelm property before we knew we would be getting a good quality build and value for money. In addition, the excellent location meant we could remain within the same area which was preferable for friends, family and local amenities.”

The Allisons purchased a 4-bedroom Wells property for £165,000 which is designed around family comforts and entertaining. The ground floor features a spacious open plan dining/kitchen area with folding doors to the rear garden. The first floor boasts a master en-suite bedroom across and a large family lounge whilst the second floor offers the remaining three well-proportioned bedrooms - including an additional en-suite - and family bathroom.
Michael and Vivian also took advantage of Dunelm Homes’ Options Centre which meant that they could customise their home according to their exact taste and specification. Amongst other alterations, the happy homebuyers selected their tiles, light fittings, storage solutions and purchased integrated white goods so that their home was exactly the way they wanted it to be when they picked up their keys.
The Chase is situated on the outskirts of Blyth and offers a range of three and four bedroom homes. Excellent public transport and road links provide easy access throughout the region. The famous South Beach is minutes away, providing a perfect place to relax or exercise and Blyth also boasts a large leisure centre, shopping centre, the Phoenix theatre and a weekly market. In addition, the town has a great selection of restaurants and cafes which makes it an attractive choice for sociable couples and families alike.
