Clipper Logistics appointed by fashion brand ME+EM
Leeds-based Clipper Logistics plc, the retail logistics firm, has been appointed by luxury fashion brand ME+EM to provide a retail logistics solution for their range.
Based at Clipper’s e-fulfilment centre of excellence in Enfield, the contract will take advantage of the company’s extensive expertise in fashion retail.
The luxury womenswear brand started working with Clipper early July 2014.
The contract includes provision of warehousing, bespoke pre-retail services and packing items ready for dispatch to customers.
In addition to the e-fulfilment element of the contract, the solution will also include delivery of goods to ME+EM’s central London retail store, taking advantage of Clipper’s electric vehicle, which services Regent Street retailers, and London’s West End.
Cornelia Smith, Director of Merchandising at ME+EM said: “Clipper have demonstrated the expertise we needed to help prepare the business for its planned growth. They’re extremely well regarded in fashion retail and their knowledge of the sector will help us deliver our customer promises. We have been delighted with the initial migration to the Clipper facility and we look forward to the continued success of this operation.”
