Sheffield software provider Azzure recieves €200k RGF funding
Sheffield-based software provider, Azzure IT has secured €200k grant funding from the Regional Growth Fund to help support its aggressive growth strategy and increase staff count.
Over the last three years, Azzure has trebled its number of staff and its turnover, specialising in Microsoft Dynamics NAV providers.
The funding has already helped Azzure employ eight new members of staff including project managers, developers, and sales and implementation consultants.
Azzure works with home-grown businesses such as Universal Drilling, OSL Group, Moon Climbing and The Stitch Factory.
The £3.2 billion Regional Growth Fund (RGF) is a government initiative supporting investment in the private sector to safeguard existing jobs and create new ones.
LEP only awards grants to the most worthy projects and Azzure went through a rigorous multi-stage application process, including external audits.
Craig Such, managing director of Azzure said: “To be awarded this RGF grant is a tremendous recognition of our achievements to date, as well as our plans for the future.
“This grant will really help us fund the acquisition of new talent and support the investment we make in the rigorous training of those new members of the team.”
Azzure reached the status of Microsoft Gold ERP Partner, awarded to those who meet the stringent set of criteria - training and staff qualifications, customer satisfaction and overall business performance.
