Davenham’s sales team gets a triple boost as firm pushes for further growth

Manchester-based Davenham Asset Finance Ltd (Davenham) is undergoing significant growth within just a year of its launch, and looking to recruit extra staff as it aims at further expansion.

Paul Lovelock has been promoted from Business Development Manager to Head of Sales, and the firm has also appointed two new Business Development Managers, Rebekah Middleton and Stuart Berry.

Having joined Davenham as Business Development Manager in October 2013, Paul Lovelock has been a driving force in seeing the development of a multimillion pound portfolio over the past ten months.

As a result of the current pace of growth, and with Davenham’s ambitions for the future in place, Paul Lovelock has been appointed as Head of Sales, tasked with creating and developing a national sales team capable of delivering the company’s future goals.

Over the next six months, he will be responsible for doubling the portfolio, and specifically managing the delivery of asset finance solutions between £25,000 to £350,000 from the core products of Refinance, Vehicle finance and Plant & Equipment finance to the near and sub-prime SME market across the UK.

With over 25 years in the finance sector, Paul Lovelock brings to the role valuable experience of dealing with broker intermediaries having worked for key players in the market, including Close Asset Finance Ltd and State Securities plc.

Being responsible for creating a national sales team at Davenham, he has already recruited two Business Development Managers to the team in the Midlands region to augment the current Northern sales presence, looked after by Rachel Davies.

Seasoned sales professional Rebekah Middleton will cover the East Midlands/East Anglia areas, while and Stuart Berrywill be joining Davenham in September, to become the firm’s West Midlands & South Wales Business Development Manager.

Rebekah Middleton joined Davenham in July from Close Asset Finance Ltd, bringing with her over ten years of experience in the sector working with brokers.

Recently joining from Shawbrook Asset Finance Limited, Stuart Berry, also worked for General Asset Management, Kingsway and Siemens.
