Local housebuilder donates funds to Scarborough surf festival
Local housebuilder, Barratt Homes, has donated £200 to Scarborough’s Pro Surf festival in an act of support for the local community, which has teamed together to host the festival this October.
The event takes place over two days in Scarborough’s North Bay on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of October and is part of the UK Pro Surf Tour. Scarborough’s Pro Surf sees around 10,000 people flock to the seaside town to enjoy a wide range of attractions including a BMX bike show, live music, VW display, and free surfing lessons for all, as well as the best professional surfers in the UK competing to win the UK Professional Surfing Title.
Debbie Foster, Sales Manager at Barratt Homes Yorkshire East, commented: “We are passionate about supporting events that encourage local community participation in the areas where we have developments, such as Springhill Meadows in Cayton. We were very happy to contribute towards the Scarborough Pro Surf festival; there is so much going on and I am sure that the event will be a huge success.”
Barratt Homes is offering a fantastic range of new properties in Cayton, just outside of Scarborough, at its development Springhill Meadows. The development includes a range of three and four bedroom homes, whilst some of Britain’s most stunning beaches and plenty of everyday amenities can be found close by.
