Rotherham’s Efficiency North on the hunt for contractors for £360 million housing deal
Rotherham-based procurement specialist Efficiency North has started the hunt for firms to join a social housing framework covering upgrade work worth in the vicinity of £360 million.
The new framework will replace the EN Procure Elemental Works arrangement when it ends in November 2015 and will cover maintenance projects for social housing, according to Construction Enquirer.
The Rotherham firm is a collaborative consortium of soucial housing providers and public sector organisations that develop and maintain homes in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
It is looking for contractors of all sizes able to deliver kitchen and bathroom installation, heating and ventilation, electrical installation, brickwork and masonry, roofing, painting, solar photovoltaic installations, and whole house improvement works.
A single stage open procedure tender process will be run through the Procure Plus website. Firms need to express an interest by 10 November.
Efficiency North Ltd chief executive Lee Parkinson said: “The EN Procure Installers Framework is the next generation of our elemental works framework.
“I very much hope that contractors of all sizes will embrace the opportunity to win a place on the framework as we have done all that we can to streamline the framework procurement process whilst maintaining the high standards we expect from our framework contractors.”
