Development unveiled in sought-after Maidenhead
Prestigious housebuilder Charles Church has announced plans for a new development in one of the most sought-after towns in the country.
Charles Church North London has acquired a site off Manor Lane in Maidenhead and plans to build 52 homes, 36 of which will be four and five bedroom family homes available on the open market, under the marketing name Manor Place.
The properties will be perfect for growing families and those who are looking to take the next step up the property ladder.
Andrew Hammond, regional chairman of Charles Church North London, said: “We’re delighted to be able to announce this new development on the outskirts of Maidenhead.
“It’s the ideal location near the major road links and within easy reach of the railway station with links to London to the east and Bristol to the west.
“Heathrow Airport is also under an hour’s drive away. Whether you’re a growing family, looking to invest or simply looking for a bigger home, Manor Place is bound to have what you are looking for.”
Greenbelt land to the southern boundary of the development will be retained and will form part of the development’s open space, complete with a children’s play area.
Maidenhead is one of the most affluent areas of the UK. Its position amongst the countryside while still benefitting from being close to the capital makes it a firm favourite with commuters.
The bustling town centre has a range of more than 300 shops, including popular chains and quirky independents. There are also excellent leisure facilities, including a cinema and a leisure centre. There is an abundance of places to eat and drink in the town, including relaxed wine bars and popular nightclubs.
