West Yorkshire gas training company deemed above standard

Brookhouse Training meets new standards in gas training laid down by industry bodies IGEM (Institution of Gas Engineers and Managers) and EU Skills (Energy and Utility Skills).

Now complete and in place for all UK training providers to work to, the ‘Standards of Training in Gas Work’ sets out criteria and guidance in the development and delivery of training programmes in the domestic gas industry.

The Standards will be what External Verifiers will work to when inspecting training centres throughout the UK, and will become mandatory by 2015.

Brookhouse Training can already boast a track record in achieving very high standards but now it can claim its training is well above the current required standards.

We are pleased to announce we are already meeting the new Standards objectives in being fit for purpose for today’s gas sector”.

The new Standards will assess the recognition process for gas training programmes and providers’ infrastructure, scrutinising the organisational leadership, engagement, resourcing, training development and delivery, internal systems, monitoring, and continuous improvement with regular audits to ensure standards are maintained.
