Sheffield companies mentor gas training
Sheffield heating and maintenance companies are needed to inform and mentor a strong pipeline of next generation gas engineers to fill the skills shortage within the energy sector.
Brookhouse Training, the Yorkshire gas training specialists, are calling out to encourage local companies, who specialise in gas services, to join their mentoring programme to offer training gas engineers the opportunity to gain ‘real’ working experience overseen by a qualified and experienced gas engineer.
Already signed up are Lodge Moor based Universal Gas Services UK Ltd, Liberty Gas Group and Yorkshire Housing, who are working with Brookhouse students to help them develop a work-based competence and gas portfolio of evidence building - without which students wouldn’t qualify as a Gas Safe Registered engineer.
James McConnell, Director at Brookhouse Training says: “We are very grateful for the commitment and dedication shown by our mentoring companies. Once again our focus as a Centre of Excellence ensures our students are a step ahead by learning from the best in the industry.”
To join the mentoring programme and learn more about how a ACS Gas Operatives trainee can benefit your company please call Roy Parsk, Work Placement Manager at Brookhouse Training on 01274 86772 or email roy@brookhousetraining.com
Brookhouse Training is the UK’s number one gas, plumbing, training and assessment specialist offering practical learning from within a bespoke state-of-the-art training centre based in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire.
