Gateshead software firm on recruitment drive after one year of trading

Gateshead technology firm Mesma is setting up for expansion as it looks to create new jobs on the back of growing demand, after just over a year trading.

Team Valley-based Mesma which focuses on online education software is currently looking to recruit up to 4 additional software developers to bolster its existing team,which includes firm directors Neil Donkin, Carole Loader and Louise Doyle

Launched into the education sector in 2013, this software aims to ensure that schools and other education providers are properly prepared for Ofsted inspections.

Now, the firm is aiming to recruit more developers to facilitate the design of additional new components that schools, FE colleges and national not-for-profit groups like The MindSet require.

This includes features such as new self-assessment and SWOT reports and alongside the versatile improvement-planning module.

Company director Louise Doyle said: “We have exceeded our expectations and are now ready to bring on-board additional developer resources to meet demand and move our core software offering forward to the next stage.

“We are actively looking to create a number of new posts for talented and skilled developers, who are keen to join a young and hungry business that has huge potential for growth over the next five years.

“We are also keen to speak to individuals interested in part-time business development positions, in line with our ethos to provide flexible working opportunities as we build our company.”
