Wrexham accounting practice joins forces with leading regional independent to offer enhanced services to North Wales

WELL-KNOWN Wrexham accountancy firm John Davies & Co has joined forces with leading regional independent, DSG Chartered Accountants.

As part of a new working partnership between the two firms, John Davies will offer an enhanced range of specialist services to its client base from across North Wales.

Expert advice on specialist tax, corporate finance, trusts, insolvency, and charitable and not-for-profit sectors has been added to the firm’s core accounting services.

John Davies & Co will continue to operate as an independent firm led by owner, Tim Davies, and his established team of 16 staff. DSG corporate business manager, David Pennant Williams, will supplement the team, working from its offices in the Yale Business Village, Wrexham.

Tim Davies said: “My ownership and role as head of the practice remains unchanged. I’m really excited about this opportunity as we can now give many more specialist services to our existing clients.

“The economy in Wrexham is really picking up, and I’m confident that this collaboration with DSG will allow us to work even more closely with our clients as they emerge from what has been a difficult few years and plan for the future.

“We believe our new offering is unique to the region and creates a one-stop shop for local businesses.”

An 80-strong firm, DSG has offices in Ewloe, Liverpool, Bootle and Southport.

DSG partner Jean Ellis said: “This second North Wales base underpins our commitment to North Wales. We’re sure this is going to be a very successful working partnership.”
