Boost for Morris Lubricants after dealership link-up

Leading UK manufacturer Morris Lubricants has produced two new high quality engine oils after consultation with an established Honda dealership.

Morris Lubricants, which has been blending oils and lubricants in the UK since 1869, will provide its Multilife ECO-S 0W-20 and Multilife C-TWO 0W-30 engine oils to a business with a number dealerships across the country.

Morris carefully produced the oils after the dealership asked for a product specifically for the latest Honda models. The dealership was keen to continue its close working relationship with Shrewsbury-based Morris Lubricants rather than buying a product from a competitor.

Adrian Hill, automotive product manager at the firm, said it was an important success.

He said: “We have a long-running affiliation with the dealership and when they asked us to provide a specialised lubricant for Honda cars we were keen to oblige.

“Strategically, this is an important move for us. It means that customers have more choice and that people can make an informed decision.

“It will open up new markets for us and means we can become an alternative for other Honda dealerships across the country.”

The Multilife ECO-S 0W-20 is a high performance fully synthetic engine oil formulated to cope with the onerous demands of engines requiring low viscosity engine oils.

The product uses a combination of synthetic base fluids and an advanced additive system to provide a balanced lubricant that delivers friction reduction, component protection and fuel efficiency.

It circulates rapidly from cold, creates a strong oil film to protect at high temperatures and under arduous workloads and ensures a high level of component cleanliness and operational efficiency.

As well as Honda, other recommended marques include Ford, Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Chrysler.

The Multilife C-TWO 0W-30 is a mid-SAPS (sulphur, ash, phosphorus) fully synthetic engine oil. It increases fuel efficiency and has been developed for use in Euro IV, V and VI compliant vehicles.

Meanwhile, experts at Morris Lubricants are busy finalising their new range of products for dual clutch transmission cars. DCT saves fuel by making gear changes quicker and smoother.

Adrian said: “These new products will go live next month. They are an important addition to our already expansive range.”

Morris Lubricants is a British company that has been manufacturing lubricants in Shrewsbury since 1869. Over 140 years of development has seen the company grow to become one of Europe’s leading oil blenders and marketers, with a reputation for quality and service.

The company offers an extensive range of performance lubricants covering a wide variety of application areas, including many that are specifically designed for motorsport.

This is backed by the highest level of quality control and technical support, together with an experienced customer service team.
