Benenden launches UK-wide Health Assessments product

A new health assessments service that will provide people with a comprehensive insight into the state of their health has been launched in the UK by Benenden Wellbeing.

Offering a wide choice of flexible health assessments, including consultations, blood tests, dietary assessments and personalised medical reports, the new service will be delivered in partnership with BMI Healthcare and Screenetics.

Free online health assessments will also provide a comprehensive overview of an individual’s health with guidance on lifestyle choices and a suggested action plan to improve their long-term wellbeing.

Jon Craven, Managing Director at Benenden Wellbeing said: “We are delighted to launch our health assessments service which has been developed to provide a comprehensive insight into the state of an individual’s health – offering them time to discuss their health concerns and receive personalised recommendations on how to make lifestyle changes and look to improve their own health and wellbeing.

“Being proactive about your health and wellbeing is really important and our health assessments can help spot early signs of conditions and health issues, which may otherwise have gone unnoticed. Being aware of potential health risks can also help individuals take action to improve and gain peace of mind by better understanding their health.

“We’ve worked with BMI Healthcare and Screenetics to develop health assessments suited to an individual’s needs. The assessments will be led by healthcare professionals who are committed to providing high quality service and offering expert guidance on a wide range of health issues. “

Heather Hancock, B2B Sales and Marketing Director at BMI Healthcare commented: “BMI Healthcare is pleased to be working with Benenden Wellbeing, in aiding their members to understand how lifestyle choices can affect their health and wellbeing. Across our network of UK hospitals we will be working to allow people to take control and responsibility over their health and identify and treat any medical problems at an early stage. Proactive health provision is increasing its prominence in the UK and this partnership will allow BMI Healthcare, Benenden Wellbeing and Screenetics to encourage more people to take the first step to improving their health.”

Kevin Hollick, Managing Director at Screenetics said “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Benenden Wellbeing and BMI Healthcare to offer Benenden members this range of high quality and flexible health assessments. To make it easier for members and their families, the assessments will be delivered from our national network of clinics, from BMI Healthcare’s hospitals or at one of our mobile assessment units.”

He added “In addition people will also have free access to our Benenden branded Health Risk Assessment App, which we are also launching today. This offers yet another convenient and flexible way of supporting people to maintain their wellbeing.”

The new health assessments are available in five tiers with varying levels of services, – from lifestyle consultations with a nurse and personalised medical reports, to chest X-rays, ECGs and cervical cancer screenings.
